Configure SMS and Voice Delivery

Enable direct phone-based delivery for subscriptions and escalation policies.

Before you start

  • Decide whether the workspace really needs phone-based delivery for on-call routing.

Do this

  1. Open Settings > Integrations and select SMS and Voice.
  2. Enable the integration for the workspace.
  3. Confirm the workspace can use OpsBell-managed Twilio-backed delivery.
  4. Add SMS or voice steps to user escalation policies where needed.
  5. Use the same channels in subscriptions only when awareness by phone is actually useful.

Check it worked

  • SMS and voice appear as available channels in user routing and subscriptions.
  • Responders with phone numbers can receive those delivery types.

If it does not work

  • If the channels are unavailable, confirm the integration is enabled and healthy.
  • If a responder still cannot use the channel, verify their contact details first.
