Configure Slack

Before you start

• Use a Slack workspace admin or app installer for the workspace you want to connect.

Do this

1. Open Settings > Integrations and select Slack.
2. Complete the Slack OAuth flow.
3. Confirm the workspace is connected and healthy.
4. Use Slack for the features you need, such as incident bridge links, Slack channel steps in runbooks, or Slack DM delivery in user routing and subscriptions.
5. Test one Slack-backed workflow after the connection succeeds.

Check it worked

• Slack shows as connected and ready.
• Slack features are available where you expect them in incidents, runbooks, or delivery settings.

If it does not work

• If OAuth fails, reconnect with the correct workspace and installer account.
• If Slack DM is unavailable in escalation policy, check the integration health from settings.
