Guide
Link PagerDuty Services
Connect PagerDuty services to the catalog so on-call lookup and service context stay aligned.
Before you start
- Connect PagerDuty in integrations first.
- Decide whether you want to import services in bulk or link them one by one.
Do this
- Open
Catalogand load the available PagerDuty services. - Import the services you want to bring into OpsBell, or link a PagerDuty service directly from a system or function editor.
- Review the import preview before confirming so you only bring in the services you want.
- Link each imported service to the right system or function in the catalog.
- Use the linked service details to verify the escalation policy name and external service URL.
- Check the on-call directory to confirm PagerDuty-backed coverage appears where you expect it.
Check it worked
- The system or function shows
PagerDuty linked. - The linked service displays the correct name and escalation policy.
- PagerDuty-backed on-call data is available from the on-call board.
If it does not work
- If services do not load, fix the PagerDuty integration before retrying import.
- If the wrong service is linked, correct the catalog mapping instead of importing duplicates.
- If on-call data is missing, check PagerDuty readiness from the coverage board.
